AIPA Ireland is a think-tank of Nigerian professionals of Anambra descent, based in the Republic of Ireland, coming from diverse project related backgrounds serving as a platform for the facilitation of trade, investment and cultural exchange between Ireland and Anambra State, Nigeria.
AIPA Ireland supports professional development of members in particular and all Anambrarians in general.
In AIPA Ireland, we equally work to identify specific projects that will engender economic growth, alleviate poverty, empower the youths, women and the vulnerable in our society.

Membership:
Membership of AIPA Ireland is open to any Nigerian of Anambra descent, who identifies with the objectives of AIPA Ireland and has a passion for the effective delivery of infrastructure development projects in Anambra State, but with the approval of a twothird majority of the board.

AIPA Ireland Charity Endeavour (AICE) is the charity working arm of AIPA Ireland created for general charitable purposes.
AICE undertakes educational support and trainings, youth empowerment, advancement of life saving and general health matters, Human rights/religious or racial harmony/equality or diversity; Campaigns against domestic abuses, human trafficking and all forms of discrimination.
AIPA Ireland Charity Endeavour (A.I.C.E)
AIPA Ireland Charity Endeavour depends on self financing and donations from well meaning friends and groups to be able to carry out its charity objectives. Financial donations, material donations, medical equipments, clothings, shoes, books, bags, computers, laptops, i-pads, etc are all welcomed.
About Anambra State:
Anambra State is a state in south-eastern Nigeria with a population of 4,177,828 (2006 Census). Its name is an anglicised version of the original ‘Oma Mbala’, the native name of the Anambra River. The Capital and the Seat of Government is Awka. Onitsha and Nnewi are the biggest commercial and industrial cities, respectively.
The State was created on 27th August, 1991 out of the Old Anambra State which was divided into Enugu and Anambra States. Hitherto, the Old Anambra State had been created from East Central State in 1976, which had been created from the Eastern Nigeria in 1967.
Anambra state lies in the Anambra basin, home to a rich base of natural gas and crude oil. It has an almost 100 percent arable soil and is also rich in bauxite, ceramic, kaolin, salt, gypsum, limestone, lead, iron ore, lignite, etc. The economy of the State is characterised by primary production activities in Agriculture, manufacturing and commercial activities. The mainstay of the economy is commerce and this contributes significantly to the Internally generated revenue of the government.
Culture & Tourism:
Anambra is a State very rich in Igbo culture with loads of tourist sites such as the Ogbunike cave, the Ogba Ukwu cave and Water Falls in Ajalli, the lgbo Ukwu Bronze Arts Museum and the Agulu Lake.
The introduction of a cultural heritage festival which has now become an annual event in the state, regular hosting of children’s cultural carnival, participation in competitive carnivals such as Abuja Cultural Carnival, National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST) among others, are some of the cultural activities that have accentuated the state government’s effort towards the preservation and promotion of the rich cultural heritage of Ndi Anambra.

The Agency incorporates a one-stop shop model for all investment decisions. ANSIPPA- OSSC makes registration of investments quicker, simpler and more efficient; and gives better co-ordination and service delivery between investors and the various the government ministries, departments and agencies.
